-you are not older than 40 years old
-you wish to work for a period of 10 years, for the first time, professionally in agrarian activities and mostly in agriculture and cattle-breading?

The Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with the European Union will help you in your first
steps, by offering to you:

1. A first settlement lump sum subsidy
2. which can amount:
   -up to 5,5 millions of drachmas provided that you have the green certificate.
   -up to 4,5 millions of drachmas provided that you settle down in a mountainous or disadvantageous area.
   -up to 4 millions of drachmas provided that you settle down in a lowland town or settlement of up to 5.000 inhabitants.
   -up to 3 millions of drachmas provided that you settle down in a lowland town or settlement of 5.000-50.000 inhabitants.
3. A low interest loan (subsidy of interest rate up to 80%) in order for you to meet the repair expenses of your house, the purchase of basic machinery and equipment in general which is indispensable for the launching of your operation.
   The Bank you collaborate with will grant the low interest loan to you, after your request.
